Vichy Night Detox and Idealia Eye Contour

I posted before on my love for the Vichy Idealia Life Serum which I have recently repurchased and that is always a strong sign of how much I like something, us beauty bloggers are fickle creatures! I have now gone on to treating myself to the night treatment serum for spottier skin and my eyes of course lit up when I realised there was also the eye treatment version too- come to mama.

I am becoming all too aware of how much I need to take care of my skin to keep it in top condition as the dreaded fine lines start to appear.I have really struggled in the past to properly make eye cream part of my routine, which is ridiculous as I know that is an area I will soon to go on to obsess over as lines start to form. The Vichy one is the closest I have gotten to actually remembering to always put it on as I love it and just had to share as I think the Vichy products are excellent for their price point   (especially when Escentual have their French Pharmacy 1/3rd off!)

Designed to brighten the appearance of dark circles and of course reduces those pesky fine lines, this Idealia Eye contour is packed full of brightening complex along with caffeine and B3 and of course the all-important illuminators and blurring agents. I find all of these really work to give me a far more ‘awake’ look in the morning, my dark shadows are definitely lessened and I just look a lot less tired which desperately need in these super dark Scottish winter days! I love that is ok for sensitive skins and of course most important for me is that it is non comedogenic and is paraben free.  It has the little applicator to apply the cream with is handy as it stops me going in all ham-fisted with too much pressure and battering the poor delicate eye area and its cooling and refreshing to apply in the morning which is a lovely pick me up.

With the night detox serum I was totally intrigued to see if it could help with my all often blocked pores like my beloved La Roche Posay Effeclar Duo does. It is really early days yet as I have only used it a couple of time but so far so good, I like how my skin feels in the morning and have had no breakouts yet which I quite often do when I stop using the Duo. I am so glad I spotted this on Escentual when replacing my other products as I had never heard of it before and the description couldn't be more up my street;

Those with oily, blemish prone skin suffer from an over production of sebum during the night. By morning, the skin can feel dirty and dull with additional blemishes. New Normaderm Night Detox targets the skin overnight by helping to control the production of sebum while purifying the skin.
Upon awakening:
·         Sebum production is controlled
·         Imperfections appear reduced
·         Pores tightened
·         Radiant complexion
·         Even skin texture
·         Skin feels clean & fresh

I have found the formula really light to apply and not greasy at all which is really nice for applying at night. I often find so many night treatments too heavy and I can practically hear my pores blocking at just the thought of them, so this is a totally welcome product for my routine.
