SS14 Collection at Debenhams

I spend a painfully embarrassing amount of time in my local Debenhams store. Located on Argyll Street, which just so happens to be on my route from work to home, and oh so handily open late every night-I find myself sucked in here constantly just to see what's new. From the appeal of having most of my favourite high street stores under one roof, some excellent new designers being included and one EPIC beauty hall, it is all to easy to find myself in here until the dreaded closing tannoy. It is no surprise though, my mum is a mega Debenhams fan and I was always in and out when I was younger and it has just stuck with me.

I headed along to their press night to check out the spring/summer 2014 collections and was totally impressed. From beautiful prints from designers like Jonathan Saunders, Jenny Packham and Henry Holland to stocking beauty brands like Ole Henriksen, Vita Liberata and the new Crystal Clear range, there really is something for everyone.

Debenhams really pulled out the stops to showcase the best of what they have in store right now, I discovered brands I didn't know they had and gathered an absolutely massssssive wishlist.I was bowled over with the popping colours of the accessories range they had on offer, I am all over pastel brights right now so with mint and coral dotted around me I was one happy bunny. The fashion show on the night was littered with the pinks, corals and florals that are crying out to me- there were just so many amazing pieces to take in.

We were treated to demonstrations from Benefit, Fake Bake, Urban Decay to name a few and I was lucky enough to get a gorgeous mani from the super talented Tammy of DIY nails fame ( Essie's Chinchilly). I had such a good night taking in what is on offer right now in store. I absolutely adore being able to shop so many styles and brands in one place, if you haven't been along recently then I would definitely make sure it is on your hit list for your next shopping trip. I have a voucher burning a hole in my pocket and totally torn over what it might go on, the Urban Decay Basics Palette has been on my radar for some time, but then Clarins newest facial tan offering- the Radiance Plus Glow Booster, could be just perfect for my skin this summer. No doubt I will just wander in tonight and see if I can narrow it down :)
