Neal's Yard Remedies Beauty Sleep Concentrate

A few weeks ago I spent a lovely evening with the ladies at Neal's Yard Remedies and found out more about the brand and their range of products and services that they offer. I have been trying out their Beauty Sleep Concentrate and I just had to share before Christmas as I think this is going to be secret weapon against the mess my skin usually gets when I head home for the week with the family. Between the freezing cold conditions of my folks house, mixed in with the huge amount of alcohol and sugar I consume and the lack of sleep- my poor skin takes a bit of a battering.

This year I am hoping to turn that around with this  little overnight treatment that really packs a punch. With so many people buzzing around our busy house I don’t have time for my usual skincare routine so something like this has come along at just the right time. The Beauty Sleep concentrate is one of Neal's Yards biggest sellers and has won an array of beauty awards including this years Beauty Insiders Choice and after a couple of weeks of using it I can see why…

Infused with naturally regenerative narcissus tazetta bulb extract, a smoothing tri-peptide and antioxidant-rich nourishing grape seed oil, for skin that looks and feels beautifully moisturised, replenished and recharged. With a delightful blend of aromatherapy essential oils renowned for their calming, relaxing properties.

In other words you pop 3 -4 pumps on your skin at night ( either over serum or on its own) and not only does it aid and support your cells natural renewal process that happens over night but it also soothes and calms you, aiding a restful sleep thanks to the fabulous blend of essential oils such as orange, patchouli and ylang ylang. It really smells absolutely divine, I think I am a little addicted!

I love that the ingredients are all natural and the texture is not at all rich or heavy on the skin, it doesn't clog my pores at all but manages to give my skin the moisture boost it has so obviously been craving. At £30 for 30ml it initially seems quite expensive but when you see how little you actually use and how far a bottle will go ( I reckon it will last around 4 to 5 months) the price really evens out.  For the smell alone it is totally worth it, I am hooked- for someone who doesn't sleep well at all this really relaxes me and makes me settle down and actually look forward to getting in to bed.

In the morning my skin looks far more plumped and feels very soft and replenished and incredibly moisturised.  Right now with all the fun of December going on I have felt my skin has looked particularly dull and a little lifeless but a night with this on and it looks much brighter, rested and smooth.

Overall the Beauty Sleep Concentrate is a delight and is perfect for having on my bedside cabinet to pop on as I get into bed, It feels incredibly luxurious while soothing my skin and aids my sleep perfectly. It is the perfect SOS product to always have near by and would make a beautiful last minute present for someone, fresh skin and a good rest in a bottle- they will thank you for it :)

PR sample but all opinions are my own, I LOVE this stuff. Apologies for crappy phone pics- I can't find my memory card!
