Elemis Pro-Collagen Oxygenating Night Cream- a mini review

I have wanted to try some products from Elemis for absolutely ages, I have heard so many good things and right now the Papaya Enzyme Peel and the Melting Cleansing Gel are firmly on my wish list. Recently the lovely bods at Pure Spa sent me over a little sample of the Pro-Collagen Oxygenating Night Cream ( bit of a mouthful!) to try out which seems a good place to kick off my Elemis journey.

I'll let Elemis explain the science behind the cream;

Clinically proven to increase oxygen levels in the skin by 41%* in 28 days, to assist the skin's natural regeneration process. The powerful combination of marine extract Padina Povonica, Anti-Ageing Hexapeptide and Red Coral helps maintain optimum skin condition. The result is a firmer more radient complexion whilst delaying signs of pre-mature ageing.

Now although my skin is an oily nightmare a lot of the time, as winter steps in I do find it can get dry in parts and I need to use some form of treatment at night to give it a bit of a boost -so I was excited to try this out. Being that this is just a sample size I can only give you my first impressions but so far so good- I find this   light and refreshing and almost melts on to the skin which suits me far more than some of the incredibly rich night creams. It sinks in beautifully leaving no sticky residue and it leaves my skin feeling plumped and bright in the morning and not at all greasy. Although anti ageing properties are not my first priority in skincare products right now, using something like this feels like a good prevention tactic for those pesky impending lines!

At £95 for 50ml it is definitely out of my price range for now however with Christmas  creeping in on us it might just find itself  on my list to Santa!  Perusing the Purespa website I actually noticed a whole load of Elemis Gift sets already in stock and with free delivery it could come in really handy for some early bird Christmas shopping!.

Sample sized sent for free to try out- all opinions are as always my own
