Gosh Colour Intense lip gloss in 301

If you are a nude lip lover you have GOT to pick this Gosh lip gloss up. I have been lusting after it for weeks when I saw it in Superdrug, but they have only ever had the tester in, but now it is mine I am in love even more. It is in shade 301 and is in a really nice square casing that I think looks expensive and is nice and sturdy for keeping in your bag. I even adore the little mirror on the side which at first I thought, "ok good enough gimmick"- but then turns out I use it all the time and find it so handy!

Back to the gloss, shade 301 is a stunning nude, it is not so light you are in foundation lips territory. It is darker than their infamous Darling lipstick, and with a more pinkey tone. I actually think it is close to a liquid but more opaque version of No17's Beehive which I love, I have put a swatch below so you can hopefully see what I mean. The formula is superbly moisturising which I love, particularly at this time of year and is not too light, you don't need to layer and layer this for a good coverage, a small amount does your whole lips. What I love about it and never usually find in a gloss is that the consistency is so right I can just slick it on, say at my desk even with no mirror and I would be safe in the knowledge that I wouldn't be sitting with uneven, cakey in parts too nudey lips. I love my Revlon gloss in Peach petal but in comparison if I was to apply that without mirror I would be in real danger of looking pretty odd!

I can not completely remember but I think the gloss retails at £8  which is at the high end of  'drug store' glosses but for the colour pay off and formula I think it is so worth it.

What do you guys think?

  1. This colour looks fab! I am a huge fan of Gosh Nail Polishes, I never actually tried any of their make up before.
