A bit of a random tip for the day but one I had to share. Seeing as my skin is being a pain in the arse I went into Boots to talk to a pharmacist, they couldn't give me anything that suited over the counter but suggested I talk to their skincare specialist that is on the floor. I wasn't expecting much but thought it was worth a try.
I am so glad I did, look at all the amazing samples and info and even a bag I left with. She talked me through my skin type and what the issues are and then broke down the ingredients and routine I should follow with using Avene, La Roche Posay, Vichy and Eucerin. She recommended La Roche Posay for me ( she used it herself suffered from acne but had great looking glowing skin) but wanted me to get a feel for them all before splashing the cash on the products. She was so helpful and encouraging and I was delighted. So my tip is if you are looking to try out a new range in skin care, beauty or perfume, make sure you ask about sample sizes in things. Trying out a skin care routine before buying is great, you want don't want to pay to break out do you!
Let me know if you are given any free goodies to try where you are!

Oh thats awesome! I hope you find something that works for you :)
ReplyDeleteEstee Lauder are doing this match with foundation just now where they'll find the best match for your skin and then give you a free 10 day sample to take home. I may just ask the skin care folk at boots for some advice on my skin...I feel like the fact I never sleep just now is killing it and vitimain e just isn't cutting it anymore.
