With an immaculately professional appearance herself, Becca has picked a lovely spot in 'Tranquil Times' on Dumbarton Road. Don’t let the small shop front fool you, behind the desk there is a corridor of peaceful rooms that are a lovely little haven in a bustling bit of the west end. I was in for my first ever shellac experience and to try out the Elemis Facial, although there was so much to choose from on her treatment menu, I would have happily tried it all!
A lovely, friendly and knowledgeable therapist, Becca is loads of fun to work with, she loves to chat about treatments and products and I could have picked her brains for hours on her favourite products. She clipped and filed my nails to perfection and really expertly got a beautiful shade called Field Foxes applied. I am so glad I finally got Shellac done as this was the ideal nude colour to wear while I was away In New York in the days after, it went with everything and lasted incredibly which was one less thing to worry about! I adored the shape she gave my nails and the finish was absolutely top notch lasting almost perfectly for 2 full weeks. Coming in at only £20-25 ( although on special offer in May!) I will definitely be back to have it done again, as well as getting my toes done for summer.
We then moved into her treatment room which she has done up beautifully, this felt like a super chic home from home which is so lovely to be pampered in. Calm, neutral and welcoming tones are perfect for a back drop of Neom Scents and pretty candles while you get settled in. I was having the Elemis facial which I was really looking forward to going by the lovely glow of her own skin! Becca has a magic touch and the whole facial was really enjoyable, lovely hot cloths and the relaxing aromas of the products had me feeling really zen, when she moved onto a head massage while a mask got to work, I was almost out for the count!!
BW Beauty is a fab addition to the Glasgow beauty scene and definitely somewhere to consider for your next treatment.
