Getting to know; Arran Aromatics

2013 - 25 Years of Arran Aromatics

With prices that make my purse sing to natural products that have my skin breathing a sigh of relief- Arran Aromatics are a brand worth familiarising yourself with. Until this year I knew very little amount about them (despite passing one of their stores every single morning!) but when they organised an event recently for us Scottish bloggers, I was excited to learn more. Sadly I couldn't make it along to enjoy all the live demonstrations with all the rest of the gang but I was kindly sent a few of their new few good formula products to try out.

Founded in 1989 by a husband and wife duo on the beautiful Isle of Arran, the company has gone from strength to strength and created some gorgeous products which you might be most familiar with from being stocked in some of the UKs leading hotels. turning 25 last year Arran Aromatics has a lot to celebrate- their use of natural ingredients, commitment to the environment and dedication to their exquisite aromas, is so impressive. I was taken with their journey of how they got to where they are today and I couldn't wait to give the products a go.

I was sent the Green Tea  Eye Cooler Gel was a joy to use.  Packed full of anti oxidants and with added witch hazel this was refreshing and light (especially if you keep it in the fridge) it really took the puff out of my tired eyes and made me look a lot brighter. The best part- it only costs £3.50!Yup a super affordable eye gel that works- hurrah!

Using this daily for a couple of weeks and being so impressed set me up nicely for giving one of AA's face masks a try. I was sent the Feel Good Formula Sea Mud Mask with mint and bergamot and it performed just as I hoped it would. My skin is spot prone and I love to use a good clay or mud mask every so often to help draw out any bad boy does just that- with kaolin clay to draw out impurities while the bergamot and mint tone and revitalise the skin while fighting spots and leaving skin super clean. It was easy to apply, didn't harden and make a mess everywhere and once I had removed my skin was left super soft and bright. Like the eye cream this mask was also really affordable costing only £8.50 for a healthy sized jar. Seeing as Mother Day is round the corner I wanted to share the products in time for anyone picking up some little pamper treats for the special woman in their life.
