Benefit Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow Liquid Foundation

The other week I was delighted to get to along to Benefits first even in Scotland, I had already met up with the lovely Andrew from the company last year and found his passion for the company really appealing. So this was a chance to meet not only him but the whole team, both from in Scotland and the London team including the FABULOUS Lisa Potter Dixon who is the brands Head makeup artist and Trend director.

How amazing were Lisa's nails- I was completely mesmerised!
After a natter and catch up with some other bloggers, there was a chance for a  couple of the team to give us their background with the company and then we were shown two videos to introduce us to this new product. Launching at the end of the month, the Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow Liquid foundation is a  product 3 years in the making and was created in answer to many a Benebabes foundation wish list:
Oil Free, SPF, Light, build able, brightening and dewy. That is a lot to promise, so I was excited to give it a whirl!
First off, I am in love with the Packaging, looking a lot more clean and simple than other Benefits products this suggests to me this is a serious foundation ready to pack a punch. I adore the clear pump action bottle, the product itself is the runniest foundation I have come across so the pump is vital for controlling how much you get out, and nice and hygienic.

The foundation itself is a light to medium coverage, that I have found builds well without becoming cakey at all. It took me a couple of go's to get use to the runny texture but I am now loving how quickly I can apply it     ( using my real techniques buffing brush) and how well it evens out my skin without feeling at all heavy or more importantly to me, greasy. The oxygen element does feel incredibly breathable and hydrating on the skin, whilst at the same time making my skin definitely look more radiant. On top of the high SPF which I love, it is also packed with vitamins C and E which are apparently good for the anti ageing fight which I am all for as I creep over the 25 year old line ( eeeep!)

I have been using mine over my Benefit Porefessional ( which I LOVE and you even get a little sachet in the foundation box) and it has left my skin looking smooth, natural and healthy looking. I have been using it now for 10 days, so it is early days but so far after setting it with a little powder I have found it to last well through the day without turning shiny on me.I have had to touch it up with powder going into the evening but with the finish I get this isn't a huge problem.  My skin doesn't take kindly to all foundation so an oil free formula like this is perfect for me, so far I have had no problems with it breaking me out and added in to that an SPF as high as this is fantastic. Going into summer this type of coverage and hydrating formula is exactly what my skin will need and I am excited to keep on using it.

This is me wearing it literally moments after it arrived in the post! Wearing it with a little Porefessional, a touch of Bella Bamba and some lip balm.

Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow Foundation is hitting Benefit counters TOMORROW! and will cost £24.50 and is available in 9 shades, this might sound limiting but from looking at them there is actually a good bit of a variety and the pale shade 'pure for sure' is just right for my tone. I would absolutely recommend going to the counter and trying it out, I think you will love how it looks.

Pr sample given for consideration, all opinions as always are my own.
