Getting my Gump on

oh HAI!

Remember me- terrible beauty blogger who has failed to mention a beauty product in a while?

Here I am! Soooo to fill you all in on what has been happening,  I was in London all last week with my dearest HP and it was amazing to be there with her. The op went well but left her in a huge amount of pain so we sat and read magazines and gossiped while I stuffed my face with her all her snacks as per usual. She is being so brave, it blows my mind when ever I think about it, she keeps getting more and more things thrown at her, and she is soldiering on. Sadly she has to get more chemo now, including a very intense high dose one that we were hoping she could avoid. I just wish I could wrap her up and take her away from it, and let her sleep and heal to her hearts content. But for now all I can do is continue to eat her snacks and talk rubbish while we read mags. Lucky you HP!

A big group of Friends and family all pulled together at the weekend to run the 10k in Edinburgh for Cancer Research and I am so so proud to say that as of today we have made over £10 000 for the charity. I really have been overwhelmed with the kindness of people and how supporting they have been. I really am the worlds most terrible runner, think Forrest Gump in the early scenes, I was so looking forward to getting our Team together but not for the actual running part.........

 The amazing cake!

 Crossing that finish line

The course was not quite the flat easy run around a concrete path I expected... it was a bloody cross country style affair- hills and all! I lets say 'power walked' my way around the course with HP's sister Teenie and my ever faithful BF who promised he wouldn't leave me behind and we finished it in an hour and a half. It was so much fun, and it was incredible to see so many people running for such a good cause. I was shattered after it though, nothing that a slice of the AMAZING cake my lovely friend Ceggers made, it was incredible! I am so proud of everyone who took part and helped make it a great day and reach our massive total.
Well done Team Mairead!

Back to London, now I still managed to find a few spare minutes to get my make up on, I made a cheeky little pit stop at my beloved Inglot and also to Charles Fox where I picked up a couple of little goodies that I can't wait to share.

I know I have been so bad getting stuff up on here and I really miss doing it, there has just been so much going on and I haven't had Internet for 2 months now (thanks Sky *shakes fist*) but I am told in good faith that this will be repaired soon and I can get back to working on posts at night. I have some Lord and Berry, Kryolan, Ben Nye, Inglot, FYF and Bare Minerals to share,HURRAH!

Thanks so much to everyone who has been so supportive during this time, all your comments and messages really do mean a lot to me.

Much love to everyone,

Bx
